2023 WPM+RE Academic and Travel Awards

Each year, students in the college’s Weidner Property Management and Real Estate program can apply for awards to support their academic endeavors and professional development in the industry.

This year a total of $46,000 will be awarded. are due by February 28, 2023.

Travel Awards

Travel awards include $2,000 toward airfare, lodging, registration and a per diem for the following industry events:

• Atlanta, Georgia, June 7-9, 2023 – Three students will be selected to attend APARTMENTALIZE, an education conference and exposition hosted by the National Apartment Association (NAA).
• Toronto, Ontario - October 10-13, 2023 – Three students will be selected to attend the Institute of Real Estate Management’s (IREM) Global Summit.

Academic Awards

Weidner Scholars - Three students will be eligible to receive $5,000 each, credited to their university student account. The award may be eligible for renewal for a second year.

WPM+RE Academic Awards - Three students will be eligible to receive $2,000 each credited to their university student account.

Weidner Awards - Five students will be eligible to receive an academic award of $1,000 each.

REM+I Awards - Three students will be eligible to receive an academic award of $1,000 each.

AHFC Award - One student will be eligible to receive an academic award of $1,000.

Applicants must be enrolled in the BBA, Management with Property Management and Real Estate Concentration to be eligible. Review for more eligibility details. Completed applications are due by February 28, 2023.
