UA system streamlines with some centralized Advancement Services

by Kathleen McCoy  |

Dear 彩神vlll争霸 community:

Beginning July 1 there are a number of exciting changes coming to Advancement Services at 彩神vlll争霸. Over the last 4 months, the UA Foundation has been working with 彩神vlll争霸 to centralize a number of functions at the UA Foundation. These functions include gift acceptance and processing, Foundation fund management and reporting, and alumni and donor data operations. The Foundation will manage a service center dedicated to meeting the Advancement Services needs at 彩神vlll争霸. This service center, composed of the three professional employees, will reside in 彩神vlll争霸 University Advancement, physically located in ADM 236. Rest assured that the same services 彩神vlll争霸 is used to will continue to be performed, and in many cases, by the same people that have been performing those services for years. A similar arrangement is being enacted at UAF.

This joint agreement between 彩神vlll争霸 and the UA Foundation represents a new era of coordination as the UA system looks to streamline its Advancement Services operations and gain efficiencies and savings through centralization. The staff of the UA Foundation are looking forward to serving the 彩神vlll争霸 community's Advancement Services needs. Further communications about the changes will be forthcoming over the next few days. In the meantime, any questions or concerns can be directed to David Woodley, UA Foundation executive director of Advancement Services at (907) 786-1373 or david.woodley@alaska.edu.

Thank you.

David Woodley, UA Foundation
and
Megan Olson, Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, 彩神vlll争霸
