The Alaska Middle College School is a partnership between 彩神vlll争霸 and the Mat-Su Borough School District. The school is an early college program that allows junior and senior Mat-Su students to earn credits toward a 彩神vlll争霸 Associate of Arts degree while completing their high school diploma. Students take classes that satisfy both high school diploma and 彩神vlll争霸 general education requirements. The program helps students become college-ready in addition to shortening the time it typically takes to get a degree. Forty-two students are currently registered through the district. Please join the following guests in celebrating the program's successful first year:
- Patrick Gamble, president, University of Alaska
- Tom Case, chancellor, 彩神vlll争霸
- Karen Schmitt, dean, Community & Technical College
