The rank of Staff Emerita was conferred upon Pat Moores and Fannie Slaten during 彩神vlll争霸 commencement ceremonies earlier in December. This high honor is in recognition of distinguished careers at the 彩神vlll争霸, and was recommended by their colleagues with the concurrence of the Chancellor鈥檚 Cabinet. Both Pat and Fannie retired this year after long service with the College of Business and Public Policy.
As part of their participation in the Tom Case Leadership Fellows program, students create and lead a community service project in our community that is meaningful to them. This year, one of the students groups has organized a food and fund drive to benefit youth who rely on Boys & Girls Clubs for nutritious meals.

彩神vlll争霸鈥檚 Business Plan Competition is designed to inspire and encourage economic development and entrepreneurship. The number of people coming forward with new and innovative business ideas is way up during the pandemic, said several speakers during the competition鈥檚 kick-off event last month.
