彩神vlll争霸 alumni find many ways to stay connected and give back to their community, including nursing grad Tisha Benson, public health and ambulatory care nurse at Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium.
彩神vlll争霸 alumna Greer Gehler graduated from 彩神vlll争霸鈥檚 School of Nursing with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in nursing science in December 2018. It鈥檚 been an exciting two years from landing her dream job in Providence Alaska Medical Center鈥檚 emergency room to providing care during COVID-19.
As part of 彩神vlll争霸鈥檚 COVID-19 response, 72 nursing seniors in good academic standing will be given the option to finish their degree on an expedited timeline to join the health workforce sooner than they would otherwise be able to.
Proper evidence collection and documentation after domestic violence or sexual assault is an important step to help women who have been traumatized. A unique forensic training academy at 彩神vlll争霸 is teaching nurses how to conduct these exams and is helping grow the network of forensic nurses across the state.
