Nominations for UA President鈥檚 Adjunct Faculty Award due April 4

Faculty Success is excited to announce the 2025 University of Alaska President鈥檚 Adjunct Faculty Award! This $1500 award recognizes adjunct faculty members who demonstrate excellence in teaching.
Eligibility
All bargaining unit adjunct faculty members are eligible as long as they have taught a minimum of one (1) credit in the semester they will receive the award. Adjunct faculty members who have received the award within the previous three (3) years are ineligible.
Nominations
An adjunct faculty may be nominated by any University faculty member, adjunct faculty, staff or student. Nominations should include a letter of nomination and a bio/CV of the adjunct faculty. Additionally, it may include the following:
- Letters of support from the dean, department chair, program lead, faculty, students, alumni and/or other stakeholders.
- Supporting materials which may include a personal statement on teaching, sample course syllabi, student evaluations, other feedback from students.
Nominations are due April 4, and must be submitted as a single PDF attachment in the nomination form.
