1. Application

   To apply to the 2025 Summer Engineering Academies at 彩神vlll争霸, please complete the online application form.

   Applicants will receive a 鈥�Confirmation of 彩神vlll争霸 SEA Application鈥� email.

   During the first week of March, applicants will be included in a randomized lottery selection process.  Applicants will be notified by email to which academies they have been admitted after the lottery selection.  Upon receipt of the admittance email, participants will be asked to complete the registration process by the enrollment deadline included in the email.

2. Admission

   Upon completion of the lottery selection process, participants will receive a 鈥�Confirmation of 彩神vlll争霸 SEA Admitted Academies鈥� email.  If a participant is not admitted to the maximum number of desired academies, participants may opt to enroll during open enrollment, not to exceed three academies per summer, should vacant seats remain. The admittance email will include instructions and links to complete registration.  A completed registration consists of the registration form, payment or tuition waiver, a signed liability/media release (SmartWaiver), and acknowledgement of the SEA discipline policy.  The release will be sent electronically after completing payment. 3. Registration

   Once all registration materials, including payment or waiver, the signed liability/media release (SmartWaiver), and acknowledgement of the SEA discipline policy, have been received by the enrollment deadline included in the confirmation email, participants will receive a 鈥�Confirmation of 彩神vlll争霸 SEA Registration鈥� email. 

   Registration is confirmed after the 鈥�Confirmation of 彩神vlll争霸 SEA Registration鈥� has been received.  If you do not receive this email and you have completed registration, please check your Spam folder or contact us at sea@alaska.edu.

Open Enrollment

Once the enrollment deadline for those who were chosen in the lottery has passed open enrollment will begin.  During open enrollment parents can sign up their kids for academies with remaining seats available on a first come, first serve basis not to exceed three academies for each child per summer. Open enrollment will close two weeks prior to the beginning of each academy.

Please note that there will be no lotteries during open enrollment.  This is a change from previous years based on feedback from parents.  We hope that the new open enrollment process will assist parents in planning summers activities for their families in a more timely manner.    

The Wednesday prior to the start of your academy you will receive a pre-session email, entitled 鈥� 彩神vlll争霸 Summer Engineering Academies - YOUR ACADEMY NAME HERE.鈥�  If you do not receive this email the week prior, please contact us at sea@alaska.edu as soon as possible.  This email will contain directions, parking instructions, and other important details.

Refund Policy

Full refunds will be issued if cancellation occurs two weeks or more prior to the start of an academy.  Should families cancel within two weeks of the start of an academy, refunds may be received only if their child's seat is filled by a child on our waitlist, should a waitlist exist.
